NATCHEZ – Services for Jake “Boy” Jones, 62, of Natchez, who died Friday, March 21, 2008, at Natchez Regional Medical Center, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Second Union Baptist Church.
Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home in Bude.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.
Mr. Jones was born Oct. 16, 1945, in Franklin County, the son of Annie Lee Pernell Thompson and Arthur Jones.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Johnny Earl Jones.
Survivors include his significant other, Gloria Belton; one daughter, Erika Belton Bowman; one stepson, George Belton; two grandchildren, Alexisia Belton and Raymone Bowman, all of Natchez; two sisters, Juanita Jones of Crosby and Essie Mae Montgomery and husband, Melvin, both of McComb; one brother, Thomas Jones; two aunts, Gratie Mae Knight and Minnie Lee Nelson; and one uncle, Sim Pernell Jr., all of Natchez; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
