Adams County house hit twice during shooting

NATCHEZ — On Monday night, deputies from the Adams County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of shots fired at a home on Eastmoor Drive.

Maj. Deputy Jody Waldrop said the homeowner, a female, was home during the shooting but was not injured.

The house was hit twice with one bullet going through a wall and hitting a vase, the other was lodged in a window frame.

Waldrop said the woman suspects she knows who did the shooting.

Deputies are investigating the matter.
