Three arrested in 2006 Natchez home burglary

NATCHEZ —Three arrests were made Tuesday and one more is expected to be made in connection to a burglary of a dwelling that happened in 2006.

A house on South Rankin Street was broken into while the homeowner was away and several pieces of jewelry were stolen, Sgt. Craig Godbold said.

Joseph Wilson, 21, 110 Live Oak Drive; Lauren Geoghegan, 23, 120 Woodville Drive and Brent Geoghegan, 21, 120 Woodville Drive were all arrested and charged with burglary of a dwelling.

Bond has not been set for any of them.

The Natchez Police Department was able to make the arrests because the stolen jewelry was found by the homeowner. It was stolen from in a pawn shop, Godbold said.
