WOODVILLE — Wednesday, April 9, WCCA was represented at the MPSA State Science Fair at Mississippi State University by students Samantha Bickham, Todd Gonda, Cal Wilkerson, Heather Buzbee, Ron Polan, Sam Pace, Tucker Curry, Summer Carter, and Samantha Gentry. Coach Sam Byrd, Mrs. Timmi Polan, Mrs. Debbie Carter and Mr. and Mrs. J Crum accompanied these students.

Heather Buzbee won first place in Class IV Botany and Cal Wilkerson won third place in Class III Chemistry.

The new 2008-2009 JV and High School Cheerleaders are selling cheesecakes and cookie dough again this year to raise money for their camp clothes. Please support them by buying some of these delicious desserts.

Pre-Registration is due on or before April 30th in order to receive the discount.

WCCA will have Earth Day on April 22nd. On this day, classes will work in flower beds and plant trees to improve the school grounds. Any parent who wants to help out is encouraged to volunteer.

All of our spring sport teams have done extremely well this season. We are especially proud of our baseball team who is presently sub district champs. Please keep up with they’re progress and support them in the upcoming tournaments. Our tennis and track teams are also progressing towards the state playoffs. Go Rams!
