CROSBY – Services for Lucious Galtney Sr., 47, of Crosby, who died Tuesday, April 15, 2008, will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at Douglas Chapel Church, in Crosby, with the Rev. Tyrone Powell officiating.
Burial will follow at William Cemetery, in Mount Nebo, under the direction of Anderson Funeral Home in Gloster.
Mr. Galtney was born Aug. 2, 1960, in Mississippi, the son of Caleb and Louise Galtney.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Caleb Galtney Jr. and James Galtney; and father-in-law, Curtis Dickens.
Survivors include his wife, Terry Galtney; three children, Lucious Galtney Jr. and Nasheka Galtney, both of Gloster, and Keyoka Galtney of Crosby; six grandchildren, Kaniya Galtney, A’Kiayah Galtney, Ke’Shiyah Galtney, Ke’Asia Galtney, all of Gloster, and Jonathan Roger Jr. and Keyora Galtney, both of Crosby; one sister, Wanda Galtney of Kenner, La.; four brothers, Bernard, Jerry and Rowann, all of Crosby, and Steve of Centreville; one daughter-in-law, Lakendra Galtney; one son-in-law, Jeffery; mother-in-law, Ruthie Dickens; sisters-in-law, Debra Dickens, Brenda Galtney, Sandra Galtney, Mary Lewis and Vickie Brown; six brothers-in-law, Larry Dickens, Jerry Dickens, Charles Dickens, William Dickens, Herman Dickens and Robert Dickens; and a number of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
