COLUMBUS (AP) — A new committee will meet next month to discuss a name change at the Mississippi University for Women.

Concerns that the coeducational school’s name is misleading and that it lacks an identity have prompted the discussion.

A 32-member committee set up by President Claudia Limbert with university and community members will examine the school’s brand.
