STARKVILLE — Some 40 Mississippi State seniors are included in the 2007-08 edition of Who’s Who among Students in American Universities and Colleges.
Each year since 1934, the Tuscaloosa, Ala.-based organization has published a national directory of the most outstanding students on the nation’s campuses.
Individuals are nominated by their institutions on the basis of academic achievement, community service, leadership in extracurricular activities, and potential.
They join an elite group of students from more than 2,000 institutions of higher learning in all 50 states, the District of Columbia and several foreign countries.
Natchez natives Reva M. Lewis, a kinesiology major and the daughter of Cora Lewis; and Ryan C. Morrison, a biological sciences major and the son of Tim and Blanche Morrison are on the list.
