NATCHEZ — The charges for a man who was arrested Sunday morning for possession of a stolen vehicle have been dropped.
Timothy Woods, 22, 144 O’Brien St., was pulled over after driving the wrong way on a one-way road and after his information was checked by police, the car was identified as being stolen from Garland, Texas.
Natchez Police Chief Mike Mullins said the Garland Police Department had enough information to realize Woods did not steal the vehicle.
Woods was previously being held for the Texas agency.
“They would not extradite him,” Mullins said.
With this evidence, the charges have been dropped against Woods.
