VIDALIA – Services for Tina Roberts Warshaw, 39, of Vidalia, who died Saturday, May 3, 2008, at Natchez Regional Medical Center, will be at 11 a.m. at First Baptist Church, in Vidalia, with Brother Dan Glenn and Brother Richard Cullum officiating.
Burial will follow at Cypress Grove Cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home in Vidalia.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the church.
Mrs. Warshaw was born Dec. 29, 1968, in Ferriday, the daughter of Joyce “Jo” Roberts. She was a member of Sycamore Baptist Church and attended First Baptist Church in Vidalia. She was employed with Heritage Manor Nursing Home as the assistant activities coordinator.
Tina was a loving wife, mother, “MeMe” and devout Christian. She was outgoing, loved to watch her children play sports and be a part of church and school activities. Tina was so special to many and loved by all that knew her. She was an outspoken, well respected woman that dedicated her life to her children and family.
She was preceded in death by her loving mother; and grandparents, Henry L. Roberts and Annie B. Roberts, all of Vidalia.
Survivors include her beloved husband, Stephen E. Warshaw; one daughter, JoAnna; one son, Brandon; one sister, Lisa Nations and husband, Michael, both of Silver Creek, and the aunt to Annie and Kyle Nations, also of Silver Creek; two aunts, Annette Lewis and husband, Robert, both of Natchez, and Linda King and husband, Don, both of Monticello; two cousins, Cherie Norton and husband, Rusty, both of Brookhaven, and Michael Lewis and wife, Misty, both of Clinton; three uncles, Henry B. “Sonny” Roberts of Frogmore, Bubba Roberts and wife, Charlotte, both of Natchez, and Lee Roberts and wife, Barbara, both of Vidalia; mother-in-law, Dorothy Wiley; four brothers-in-law, Douglas Warshaw Sr. and wife, Angela, both of Vidalia, Bobby Warshaw and wife, Tracy, both of West Monroe, La., David Warshaw and wife, Geneva, both of Shreveport, ad Monty Warshaw of Pasadena, Texas; a number of nieces, nephews and cousins; Charles Ables, who she thought of as a loving and devoted brother, more than just a family friend, for many years; special friends, Carol and Alan Holland, both of Vidalia; and children she thought of as her own, Keiosha Smith, Brittany Smith, LAmyra Williams, Hollie Rushing, Rachel Tubbs, Hunter Williams, Nate Thomas and all friends of JoAnna and Brandon.
Pallbearers will be Tyler Holland, Alan Holland, Caleb Holland, James Thomas, Doug Warshaw and Michael Lewis.
Honorary pallbearer will be Robert Lewis.
