FERRIDAY – Services for Essie Dellinger, 89, of Ferriday, who died Tuesday, May 13, 2008, in Ferriday, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Young’s Funeral Home with Brother Ed Cotten officiating.
Burial will follow at Bougere Cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home in Ferriday.
Visitation will be from noon until service time Saturday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Dellinger was born Feb. 5, 1919, in Vicksburg, the daughter of Will Lafayette and Mary Elizabeth Murrah. She was previously employed with Farm Equipment Company as a receptionist and she was a member of the First Baptist Church of Ferriday.
Survivors include one son, Keister Dellinger and wife, Kathy, both of Ferriday; one grandson, William Lee Dellinger; and one granddaughter, Stephanie Jo Dellinger, all of Ferriday.
Pallbearers will be William Lee Dellinger, Travis Floyd, Dale Nelson, Curtis Nelson, H.L. Corley and Lee Roberts.
