CENTREVILLE — Services for Linda Gail Vine, 61, of Centreville, who died Friday, May 23, 2008, near Gloster, will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Brown Funeral Home Chapel in Gloster with the Rev. Bobby Seal and the Rev. Reggie Forman officiating.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today and from 10 a.m. Monday until services begin at the funeral home.

Burial will follow at Hopewell Cemetery near Crosby.

Ms. Vine was born April 28, 1947, in Natchez, the daughter of Morris A.Vines and Gertrude Crabtree Criswell.

Ms. Vine was a member of Mars Hill Methodist Church and a retired business owner.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and stepfather, James Criswell; paternal grandparents, Christopher and Lucy Vines; maternal grandparents, Homer and Janie Crabtree.

Survivors include three sons, Donald Vine Jr., of Centreville, Benny Vine and wife, Heidi, of De Prere, Wis., and Barry Vine, of Fishers, Ind.; two daughters, Melanie Newman and husband, Glenn, of Centreville, and Caroline Jelen and husband, Brad, of Zionsville, Ind.; one sister; Wanda Lucy Vines, of Natchez; 11 grandchildren, Ryan, Brooke and Bryce Lester, Brailey, Savanna and Britton Vine, Jack, Kade, Brita, Cameron, and Chloe Jelen, and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Russ Vine, Rusty Vine, Glenn Newman, Charles Vines, Brian Lester and Mike Perry.

Honorary pallbearers will be Roger Reed, Joe Jackson, Mark Phipps, John Jelks, Jeffery Jelks and Jason Vine.
