Ballard receives history award

CLINTON —The Mississippi College Honors Day Convocation was April 22, at First Baptist Church in Clinton. Outstanding students from the Clinton area were recognized for their academic achievements and service to the university. The highest honors presented included the student body honors awards, Hall of Fame and the Scott-Swor Founders Award.

Robert Thomas Ballard, of Natchez, received the Phi Alpha Theta Award.

This award is presented annually to the most outstanding freshman student in History chosen by the local chapter of Phi Alpha Theta, a history honor society.
