Jackson murder suspect denied bond

JACKSON (AP) — A 33-year-old Jackson man has been denied bond on charges related to a deadly Memorial Day shooting.

James Warren appeared Wednesday in Jackson Municipal Court. Warren has been charged with murder, aggravated assault and conspiracy.

Police say 18-year-old Cordarel Brown was killed and four others were wounded during the shooting at the holiday barbecue in Jackson.
