Natchez — The Natchez branch of Civitan International is hosting a membership luncheon at the Eola Hotel on Saturday. Invitations have been sent out to prospective members and the club hopes to increase its membership significantly as a result of the meeting.

The keynote speaker will be Ric Moore. Moore is senior director of the international board for 2007-2008, a member of the International Strategic Planning Committee. He has served as governor of Alabama District North, received the Governor’s Honor Key, and is a Junior Civitan Fellow.

Civitan is a service club dedicated to providing service to the community in many ways, with an emphasis on helping people with disabilities who are mentally or physically challenged.
