STONEVILLE — Graveside services for Verlie Jim Foster, 82, of Natchez, formerly Leland, who died Friday, June 6, 2008, at Glenburney Nursing Home were at 11 a.m. Saturday at Leland-Stoneville Cemetery in Stoneville.

Arrangements were made under the direction of Boone-Wells Funeral Home in Greenville.

Mr. Foster was a native of Lincoln County and was a longtime resident of Leland where he was a longtime employee of the Leland Oil Mill.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Tiny Leatha Wren in 1997, his son Jimmy Lee Foster in 2004 and one brother, Lynn Foster.

Survivors include two grandsons, Jason Lee Foster of Hattiesburg and Jimmy Lee Foster Jr. of Nashville, Tenn. and three sisters, Anna Marie F. Smith of Lorman, Kathleen F. Harrison and Jennifer F. Polk, both of Natchez.
