AMA instrumentalist of the year performing in Natchez

NATCHEZ — Friday the 13 comes is bringing music to the Miss-Lou this week.
The sounds of American Music Association Instrumentalist of the Year guitar man Will Kimbrough will be flowing through the second floor windows of Different Accents at 515 Main St. and into the streets of downtown Natchez.
Native to Mobile, Ala., Kimbrough now hails out of Nashville and balances between the pop and Americana music genres. The sought after acoustician began his musical trek in the early 80s producing albums compiling a discography of 12 albums and a long list of collaborations with such artist as Jimmy Buffett, Todd Snider and Rodney Crowell.
“We have about 2,000 square feet which will allow for seating for around 200 people and tickets are going fast” said Edward Killelea, owner of Different Accents.
The production is being put on by Killelea and business partner Steven Palmer.
Opening for Kimbrough will be local band CJ’s, Chris Corvette, Bob Sizemore and Fred Parker.
Doors will open at 8 p.m. and and a full cash bar will be provide refreshments.
