Kendrick Grays

NATCHEZ – Services for Kendrick Jermaine Grays, 26, of Natchez, who died Saturday, June 7, 2008, in Adams County, will be at noon Saturday at Christian Hope Baptist Church with the Rev. John W. Scott Jr. officiating.
Burial will follow at Pine Hill Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of George F. West Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home and from 11 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.
Mr. Grays was born Aug. 26, 1981, in Adams County, the son of Charles Grays and Debra Grays Hawkins. He was employed as a laborer.
He was preceded in death by his mother; grandfather, Eddie Mock; one uncle, Roger L. Givens; and one cousin, Mack Washington Jr.
Survivors include his father and wife, Elaine, both of Terrell, Texas; one daughter, Ashanti Smith of Baton Rouge; one brother, John “Boo” Givens and wife, Sanqnetta; two sisters, Katrenia P. McNeal and husband, Harvey, all of Natchez, and Tischina Moore of Houston; paternal grandparents, Bebly and Amelia Whiting; maternal grandmother, Emma M. Givens, all of Natchez; two nephews; three nieces; special friend, Yvette Calvin and daughter, Diamond; and a number of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Pallbearers will be cousins and friends of the family.
