MCCALL CREEK – Services for Marvin Roy Delaney, 65, of Meadville, who died Sunday, June 22, 2008, at St. Dominic Memorial Hospital, in Jackson, will be at 2 p.m. today at Eddiceton Baptist Church.
Burial will follow at Midway Cemetery, in Meadville, under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home in Bude.
Visitation will be from noon until service time today at the church.
Mr. Delaney was born Dec. 31, 1942, in Meadville, the son of Julius and Audrey Emfinger Delaney.
He was preceded in death by his father; one sister, Bonnie Combs; and one brother, John Delaney.
Survivors include one loving daughter, Margaret Vanier and husband, Mike, both of Brookhaven; his loving mother; two brothers, Ronnie Delaney and wife, Paulette, both of Meadville, and Carlton Delaney and wife, Louise, both of Baton Rouge; five grandchildren; 12 nieces and nephews; a special friend, Prentiss Harris; and a number of other relatives and friends.
