SUMMIT — Paced from home runs from Dusty Brock and Tyler Buffington, the 11 and 12-year-old Summit All-Stars won the Dixie Youth Major League South Sub-Dstrict 7 tournament Tuesday night by eliminating Franklin County 10-0 at Summit’s Windsor Gay Sports Complex.

Summit pitcher Brock Roberts 1-hit Franklin County, crusing to a 4-inning win in going the distance.

Javy Watts led Franklin County at the plate with a single.

Franklin County starting pitcher Bernard Selmon suffered the loss, pitching an 1 1/3 before being helped off the field, after being hit by a line drive to the chest in the second inning.

Dusty Brock, the Summit All-Stars starting catcher, delivered a towering three-run homer over the right field fence to give Summit a commanding 6-0 lead.

The game was called after the fourth inning, due to the 10-run mercy rule.
