D’IBERVILLE – A private service will be held for John Thomas Martin, 63, of D’Iberville, who died Sunday, July 6, 2008, at his residence.
Mr. Martin was born Jan. 12, 1945, in Brookhaven, the son of Bill and Buelah Martin.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and three brothers, Ralph Delaughter and Braxton Martin, both of Brookhaven, and Eddie Delaughter of Laurel.
Survivors include his wife, Anita Martin; eight children, John Martin, Leigh Ann Peoples and Braxton Martin, all of Natchez, Kelly Pollan of Roxie, Clayton Martin of Trazona, Ariz., Sherron Ducksworth of Ocean Springs, Deborah Atkins of Hillsborough, N.C., and Robert Atkins of Destin, Fla.; 16 grandchildren; and a number of nieces, nephews and friends.
