NATCHEZ – Services for Eugene Brown, 72, of Natchez, who died Monday, July 7, 2008, at Natchez Community Hospital, will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Robert D. Mackel and Sons Funeral Home Chapel with Evangelist FloAnna Marsaw officiating.
Burial will follow at the Natchez National Cemetery under the direction of Robert D. Mackel and Sons Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from noon to 6 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mr. Brown was born Feb. 1, 1936, in Natchez. He was a retired construction worker.
He was preceded in death by his father, Felix McIntyre; one brother, Alvin Bell; and one sister, Etta Ruth Johnson.
Survivors include his wife, Jennie Foster Brown; seven children, Rolando White of Vidalia, Pattie Ruth Brown, Cheryl Brown and Laura Ann Brown, all of Hazlehurst, Angela Brown of Natchez, Anthony Brown of Monroe, La., and Gunnery Sgt. Ron Brown of 29 Palms, Calif.; stepmother, Justine McIntyre; and a number of other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be friends of the family.
