JONESVILLE, La. – Services for Ruthine B. Wiley, 72, of Jonesville, who died Monday, July 21, 2008, in Monroe, La., will be at 10 a.m. today at First United Methodist Church of Jonesville with the Rev. Dave Carlton and Brother Junior Trisler officiating.
Burial will follow at Pease Cemetery, in Larto, La., under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home in Jonesville.
Mrs. Wiley was born June 15, 1936, in Book, La., the daughter of Walter and Delia Book. She was a healthcare provider and was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Jonesville.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Don Wiley; her parents; and four brothers, Elmo Paul, Nasif Book, W.A. Book and LaVerne Book.
Survivors include one son, Donny Wiley of Jonesville; three daughters, Lucy Wilson and husband, Mike, Tammy Cooper and husband, David, and Trudy Smith and husband, Kenny, all of Jonesville; nine grandchildren, Stacy and Charles Turnage, Clint and Alicia Wilson, Tracy and Jason Wiley, Kayla and James Womack and Pepper Smith; seven great-grandchildren, Bailey and Tate Turnage, Kaiser Wilson, Madison, Molly and Macy Wilson and Camden Womack; two brothers, Jimmy Book and wife, Arlene, and Emmett Ray Book and wife, Debbie; three sisters, Ila White, Emma Trisler and husband, Junior, and Ruby Lea Wiley and husband, Frank; mother-in-law, Myrtle Wiley; and sister-in-law, Doris Miller and husband, Tommy.
Pallbearers will be Buddy Trisler, Jeff Wiley, Bud Book, Pat Book, Bubba Miller and Bobby Gus Miller.
Memorial donations may be made to First United Methodist Church Children’s Home.
