NATCHEZ – Services for Thomas Leland Martin, 71, of Roxie, who died Sunday, July 20, 2008, at Natchez Regional Medical Center, will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Laird Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Curt Wilson officiating.
Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time Thursday at the funeral home.
Thomas Leland Martin was born Oct. 14,

1936, in Gloster, the son of Lester Myron and Edith Brown Martin. He was employed with International Paper Company for 32 years as a process specialist. He served in the U.S. Army National Guard from 1954 to 1960 as a specialist four class.
Mr. Martin was a member of Washington Baptist Church and had attended New Hope Baptist Church in Cranfield.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife, Joann B. Martin; two sons, Paul L. Martin and wife, Candace, both of Roxie, and James M. Martin of Starkville; three grandchildren, Chandler, Brent and Brittany; and one brother, Eddie Martin and wife, Kathy, both of Oklahoma City, Okla.
Pallbearers will be Ricky Wallace, Carl Niven, James Campbell, Buster Inman, Jerry Nations and Travis Walters.
Honorary pallbearer will be Glen Allen.
