FERRIDAY – Services for Vallie Winn Jr., 63, of Vidalia, who died Friday, July 18, 2008, at Natchez Regional Medical Center, will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Concordia Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Douglas Logan officiating.
Burial will follow at the Natchez National Cemetery under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mr. Winn was born May 12, 1945, in New Orleans, the son of Vallie and Alma Lindsey Winn. He was retired from the military with over 20 years of service.
Survivors include his wife of 23 years, Debra Williams Winn; four sons, Vallie Winn III, Joseph Winn and Margene Winn, all of Mexico, Mo., and Jerry Williams of Houston; three daughters, Mary Lane of Vidalia, Chloe Winn of Fort Smith, Ark., and Callie Winn of Mexico; 19 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; eight aunts; and six uncles.
