Perkins hired to lead Co-Lin respiratory care program

NATCHEZ — Janay Perkins of St. Francisville, La., has been hired as the director of the Respiratory Care Practitioner Technology Program at Copiah-Lincoln Community College in Natchez.
Perkins worked previously at Charity Hospital and Women’s Hospital in New Orleans and West Feliciana Parish Hospital.
At Co-Lin she will teach and oversee the Respiratory Care Practitioner Technology Program, a two-year program leading to an associate’s degree in applied science.
She is a graduate of Wilkinson County Christian Academy, Louisiana Tech University and Louisiana State University Health Science Center, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in cardiopulmonary science.
She is a member of the National Board of Respiratory Care, the American Association of Respiratory Care, the Louisiana Society of Respiratory Care and the Mississippi Society of Respiratory Care.
Her community activities include the Mississippi Autism Society and the Louisiana Autism Society.
She is married to Brandon Perkins and they have two children, Bradford and Brighton Perkins.
