NATCHEZ — Local readers of the Wall Street Journal may have noticed a local name when they read Monday’s edition.

Mississippi Department of Transportation Executive Director Larry L. “Butch” Brown was used as a source in a story about how fewer drivers on the roads due to high gas prices means that there are fewer dollars being collected in federal gasoline taxes, which are used to maintain the nation’s highway systems.
