Brooks allegedly committed the kidnapping at a Vidalia convenience store, grabbing the victim and throwing her into a vehicle before traveling to Montgomery Square, in Ferriday.

The Vidalia Police pursued Brooks to the Ferriday location, where he fled on foot.

The victim escaped her kidnapper and received minor bruises but was not otherwise harmed.

Brooks reportedly has family in the Ferriday area.

Anyone with information about Brooks’ whereabouts should contact Vidalia Police Investigators Drew Harrison or Randy Stockman at 318-336-5254.
