NATCHEZ — A blood drive to benefit a former Natchez fireman and Adams County deputy will be 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday.

The drive, to benefit Jerry McDaniel, will be at Sportscenter on Seargent S. Prentiss Drive.

McDaniel, who was recently diagnosed with cancer, was a firefighter from 1956 until 1976, and a deputy from 1976 until 1997.
