CLAYTON — A Clayton man who was involved in a serious ATV accident Friday afternoon died Sunday.

Adrian L. Sharp, 29, died at the LSU Medical Center in Shreveport Sunday afternoon, Louisiana State Police Troop E Public Information Officer Scott Moreau said.

Sharp was riding a 1986 Honda three-wheeler northbound on Louisiana 567 when he lost control of the vehicle and exited the roadway.

The Honda collided with a tree, and Sharp was ejected before he also impacted a tree. He was initially transported to Riverland Medical Center.

Sharp was wearing a helmet. Routine toxicology reports are pending.

LSP Troop E troopers have investigated five fatal crashes involving ATVs this year.
