Police chase, shots were right thing

I’m writing about what was in The Democrat last Wednesday, “Top officials: Chase, shots OK.”
I am supporting the action of the deputies and officers. I am proud to know we have law officers like the ones who fired the shots to stop someone and protect the people of Natchez and Adams County.
I also thank Mr. Brown, Adams County sheriff, and Mr. Mullins, chief of police, because both of these men backed their deputies and officers. I think the choice to shoot was the right one and again, I thank the ones who did stop him.
The people do not know how dangerous these officers’ jobs are and again, I thank them.
I also want to thank the newspaper editorial board for the article “Committee must handle tax money.”
Please keep up the good work and continue letting the people of Natchez and Adams County know what is going on.
This short note is for Mr. Jeff Edwards, the sports editor. You are doing a very good job.
It would however, make me very happy if you put something in the paper from time to time about the Fighting Irish of Notre Dame. Keep up the good work.
