ALEXANDRIA — Nathan M. Ledford, son of Ron and Carol Ledford of Vidalia, has accepted a position as sports and news reporter for KLAX-TV, ABC Channel 31 in Alexandria, La.

Ledford, who recently graduated from LSU, began work in June.

He is a 2004 graduate of Vidalia High School and interned at WAFB-TV and Guaranty Broadcasting Company in Baton Rouge last summer. He also worked for KFNV Radio in Ferriday in the summer of 2006.

Ledford has had sports and news experience and has worked in promotions and sales, as well as commercial writing.

He worked as an equipment manager for the LSU Tigers football team throughout his college experience.
