Natchez — Services for Zelma D. Lambert, 77, of Natchez, who died Saturday, Aug. 16, 2008, in Natchez, will be at 10 a.m. today at Laird Funeral Home Union Street Chapel with the Rev. Steve Purvis officiating.
Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time at the church today.
Mrs. Lambert was born April 15, 1931, in Brookhaven, the daughter of Marshall and Ella Gill Dunaway.
She was a retired secretary at the Mississippi State Highway Department.
Mrs. Lambert was preceded in death by her parents; one son, David Earl Lambert; and two sisters, Florence Smith and Margie Whitten.
Survivors include her husband, Earl Lambert, of Natchez; one son, Richard Lambert and his wife, Sherri, both of Natchez; one granddaughter, Erin Lambert, of Natchez; one brother, Clavon Dunaway and his wife, Gladys, of Brookhaven; and five nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Charles Stephens, Paul Allen, Causey Smith, Charles Fisher III, Gary Holloway, Jerry Holloway and Gary Farmer.
Honorary pallbearers will be the adult women’s Sunday School class at Stanton Baptist Church.
Memorials may be made to the Stanton Baptist Church memorial fund, 1303 U.S. 61 North, Natchez, MS, 39120.
