NATCHEZ — Charles W. Caldwell Jr., CPA/PFS; Bennett M. Jeansonne, CPA/ABV, CVA; and Sim M. Mosby, CPA/PFS; partners of Silas Simmons, LLP in Natchez recently attended “Sharpen Your Vision,” Firm Foundation’s inaugural 2008 Member Conference in Las Vegas.

Partners from 15 accounting and consulting firms in the U.S. attended the three-day conference which focused on the keys to defining and implementing a firm vision. Attendees also received tools and tips to anticipate what the future holds and focus on client service, attracting and identifying right hires, firm growth, practice management and technology.

“Attendees at our first member conference agreed this was an energizing event that exceeded expectations,” Firm Foundation Director Dean Sengstock said. “Members left the conference with a powerful new focus that will help them sharpen the vision they have for their firms.”

Most of the 25 conference attendees are members of the Firm Foundation, a national association of independent accounting firms with approximately 10 to 30 employees.
