LAUREL – Services for Wayne Lee Wright Sr., 74, of Laurel, who died Wednesday, Sept. 3, 2008, at Forrest General Hospital, in Hattiesburg, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Memory Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Brandon Adcock officiating.
Burial will follow at Union Line Cemetery, in Jones County, under the direction of Memory Chapel Funeral Home in Laurel.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mr. Wright was retired from Patterson Oil Tools. He served in the U.S. Naval Reserves. He was a member of the Sons of the American Revolution, Grave Markings and Flag Presentations and Parades.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Elijah Lee and Minnie Whitehead Wright; two brothers, Bob Wright and Lynn Wright; one sister, Betty Jo Wright; one stepdaughter, Julie Walls; and one uncle, Paul Whitehead.
Survivors include his wife, Earline Scarabin Wright; one son, Wayne Lee Wright Jr. and wife, Lynette, both of Waterford, Wis.; three daughters, Pam Munsterman and husband, Curt, both of Gretna, La., Suzanne Ortego and husband, Sam, and Deanne Bubrig, all of Farmerville, La.; one stepson, Joseph Bubrig and wife, Susan, of Belle Chase, La.; one stepdaughter, Lynn Grayson and husband, Danny, both of Lafayette, La.; one brother, Glenn Wright of Flatonia, Texas; a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and a number of other family members.
Pallbearers will be Justin Wright, Bobby Joe Wright, Tee Walls, Bill Sykes, Joey Bubrig and Danny Grayson.
