Jannell Horn

QUEEN CITY, Texas — Services for Jannell Horn, 70, of Atlanta, Texas, who died Thursday, Sept. 4, 2008, in Texarkana, Ark., will be at 10 a.m. today at First Baptist Church with the Rev. Mike Lovely officiating.
Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, in Natchez, under the direction of Hanner Funeral Home in Atlanta, Texas.
Mrs. Horn was born Sept. 7, 1937, in Franklin County. She was a member of First Baptist Church, in Queen City.
Mrs. Horn worked at Henson Kickernick for a number of years and later retired from Guard-Line. She enjoyed quilting and was an avid bowler.
Survivors include two daughters, Sharon Purifoy and husband, Terry, both of Texarkana, and Tammy Crotty and husband, Doug, both of St. Amant, La.; four grandchildren, Melissa Laiche of Lutcher, La., Justin Purifoy of Fouke, Ark., Doug Crotty III and his fiancée, Ashley, both of Gonzales, La., and Courtney Morton and husband, Ryan, both of Texarkana; one brother, Harvey Freeman and wife, Agnes, both of Pascagoula; four sisters, Juralee Arrington of Chickasaw, Ala., Johnnie Carney of Natchez, Marie Boies of St. Francisville, La., and Martha Dell DeLaughter of Laurel; and special friend, Ella Mae Robertson of Atlanta.
The family will be at the home of Terry and Sharon Purifoy.
