VIDALIA – Services for Charles P. Bolyer Sr., 64, of Vidalia, who died Wednesday, Sept. 17, 2008, at his residence, will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Laird Funeral Home Union Street Chapel with Pastor Albert Fraley, the Rev. Wayne Gray and Deacon Fred Trujillo officiating.
Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today and from noon until service time Friday, all at the funeral home.
Mr. Bolyer was born Aug. 15, 1944, in New Orleans, the son of E.D. and Genevia Susan Bolyer.
He was preceded in death by his father; one sister, Genevia Bolyer Warnack; and two grandsons, Danny Wayne Perry Jr. and Hunter Austin Bolyer.
Survivors include his mother, Genevia Susie Bolyer of Ridgecrest; three children, Catherine Perry and Charles P. Bolyer Jr. and wife, Tywanna, all of Vidalia, and Deborah Bolyer of Pearl; nine grandchildren, Meghan Bolyer, Lucille Perry, Kelsey Harrigill, Michael Bolyer, Chance Bolyer, Hannah Rene Perry, Jakob Bolyer, Skylar Bolyer and Karlie Bolyer; six brothers, Edward Bolyer and wife, Ginger, and Wayne Bolyer and wife, Mitzi, all of Ferriday, Virgil Bolyer and wife, Charlotte, both of Natchez, Larry Bolyer and wife, Betty, both of Ventrice, Ralph Bolyer and wife, Carol, and Thomas Bolyer and wife, Debbie, all of Vidalia; one great-grandchild, Charlie Perry; 20 nieces; seven nephews; 18 great-nieces; and 21 great-nephews.
Pallbearers will be the brothers of Mr. Bolyer.
