RUSTON, La. – Services for Barbara Ann Young, 74, of The Woodlands, Texas, who went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, following a brief illness, Tuesday, Sept. 23, 2008, will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the Presbyterian Church of Ruston.
Burial will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 2, 2008 at White Chapel Memorial Cemetery in Troy, Mich.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Ruston.
Mrs. Young was born Feb. 4, 1934. She was a former member of the Presbyterian Church of Ruston for 30 years and a current member of Crossroads Baptist Church in The Woodlands.
Survivors include four sons, Steven Young and wife, Nancy, both of Hensley, Ark., Cary Young and wife, Donna, both of Ruston, Dale Young and wife, Shannon, of Natchez, and Michael Young and wife, Kris, both of Chamblee, Ga.; one daughter, Rae Ann Burmaster and husband, Phillip, of The Woodlands; nine grandchildren, Kenneth Young, Nolan Young, Taylor Young, Logan Young, Leah Burmaster, Jonathan Burmaster, Brittany Burmaster, Zachary Young and John Walker Young; one great-grandson, Miles Young; one brother, Robert Woolcox and wife, Debbie, both of Mio, Mich.; and special friend, India Reeves.
Pallbearers will be her grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the Susan G. Koman Breast Cancer Foundation.
