NATCHEZ – Services for Jessie Lee Boyte Jr., 50, who died Tuesday, Oct. 14, 2008, will be at 2 p.m. today at Laird Funeral Home Union Street Chapel with the Rev. Del Loy officiating.
Burial will follow at the Natchez City Cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.
Mr. Boyte was born Sept. 18, 1958, in Natchez, the son of Jessie Lee and Geneva Boyte Sr. He was formerly employed by Holsum Bakery for many years prior to moving to Zachary where he was employed by Superior Ford. Jessie enjoyed jamming out and playing golf.
Survivors include three daughters, Dee Boyte, Melissa Boyte and Michelle Boyte, all of Natchez; one grandson, Austin Boyte; financée, Rhonda Willingham of Baton Rouge; special friend, Sandy Boyte; five sisters, Sandra Dyess and husband, Marc, both of Baton Rouge, Judy Bush and husband, Jerry, both of Alexandria, Debra Blackwell and husband, Buddy, both of Meadville, Patricia Yates and husband, Charlie, and Darlene Cain and husband, Roger, all of Natchez; two brothers, Ronnie Boyte and wife, Arlyn, both of Trinidad, Colo., and Mike Boyte and wife, Maxine, both of Jackson; and two special nieces, Nikki and Amanda.
Pallbearers will be Wayne Tullos, Jerry Williams, Clark Jackson, Brady Mallory, Leo Saucier and John Fox.
Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society or a charity of choice.
