FERRIDAY – Services for Joyce Aliene Greene, 75, of Monterey, who died Friday, Oct. 24, 2008, in Monterey, will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Young’s Funeral Home with the Rev. Dennis Bignar officiating.
Burial will follow at Green Family Cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home in Ferriday.
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mrs. Greene was born Feb. 15, 1933, in Montrose, La., the daughter of Clyde Price and Dorothy Stegall Price.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include her husband, Glenn Greene; three sons, Glenn Greene Jr. and wife, Patricia, of Vicksburg, Tommy Greene of Lafayette and Robert Greene of Monterey; two daughters, Joyce Perry of Vidalia and Janice Warren and husband, T. Wes, both of Montgomery, La.; two sisters, Linda Bignar of Nebo, La. and Diane Presley of Benbrook, Texas; one brother, Clyde Price Jr. of Leesville, La.; 12 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be grandsons, Bobby Greene, Richard Steele, T.J. Greene, David Rowell, Jacob Perry and T. Wes Warren II.
