NATCHEZ – Services for Lillie Lee Toney, 74, of Natchez, who died Wednesday, Oct. 22, 2008, at Promise Hospital in Ferriday, will be at noon Friday at Pilgrim Baptist Church with the Rev. Melvin White officiating.
Burial will follow at Pine Hill Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of George F. West Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mrs. Toney was born Feb. 1, 1934, the daughter of Willie Harris Sr. and Mary Earl Harris. She was a graduate of Brumfield High School and was employed as a nurse’s aide and caregiver. She loved cooking, singing and dancing.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Bertha Brown and Annette Harris; and three brothers, Richard, David and Curtis Harris.
Survivors include a loving daughter, Mary Ann Holmes-Harris; four granddaughters, Laverne Donnan-Segars, LaJune Robinson, Jameka Calhoun and DeShonda Calhoun; 10 great-grandchildren, Kenny Robinson Jr., Vantisha Robinson, John Butler Jr., Kendrick Butler, Marvin Minor, Marqueon Minor, Nadia Segars, DonJay Fleming, Torre Robinson and Kendrell Robinson; two sisters, Rosa Lee Sims and Phyllis Felder; seven brothers, Willie Jr., Henry, Johnny, Ricky, Patrick, James and Freddie Harris; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Terry Brown, Melvin Brown, Ricky Gray, Sean Crockett, Ephraim Calhoun and R.T. Sims.
