FERRIDAY – Services for Krissi Butler, 32, of Vidalia, who died Sunday, Nov. 2, 2008, at University Medical Center, in Jackson, will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at First Baptist Church in Ferriday with the Rev. Larry Wagoner and the Rev. Wayne Gray officiating.
Burial will follow under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home in Ferriday.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the church.
Miss Butler was born Dec. 1, 1975, in Natchez, the daughter of Robert Steven Dodd and Deede Dodd Doré. She was employed by Britton & Koontz Bank, in Natchez, as head teller. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Ferriday.
She was preceded in death by her father; and grandfather, Charles L. Dye.
Survivors include her husband, Collin Butler; three children, Caroline Smith, Chase and Kade Butler; her mother and stepfather, Deede and Guy Doré, both of Lafayette, La.; one brother, Kameron Cupit of Vidalia; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Russell and Sissy Butler, both of Vidalia; marital grandparents, Earl and Martha Keith; paternal grandparents, Robert and Catherine Dodd; great-grandmother, Carine White; stepmother, Jane Dodd; two stepbrothers, Dustin and Collin Doré; one godchild, Sara Hoover; six aunts and uncles, Sandy and Sonny Causey, Sharon and Stephen Hoover, Eddie and Angie Dye, Robert and Patricia Dye and Charlie and Dawn Dodd; one nephew, Luke Butler; and a number of cousins.
Pallbearers will be Blake Butler, Austin Butler, Collin Doré, Dustin Doré, Curtiss Keating and Neil Faulkner Jr.
Honorary pallbearers will be Kameron Cupit, Robbie Dye, Little Eddie Dye, Cody Dye, Justin Brixey, Stephen Hoover, Charlie Dodd and the Alexandria Police Department.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Britton & Koontz Relay for Life Team or a charity of choice.
