Rev. Isaiah Fleming

FERRIDAY – Services for the Rev. Isaiah Fleming, 93, of Ferriday, who died Monday, Nov. 3, 2008, at Riverland Medical Center in Ferriday, will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Mount Beulah Baptist Church with the Rev. Eugene Williams officiating.
Burial will follow at the Natchez National Cemetery under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home in Ferriday.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Rev. Fleming was born April 4, 1915, in Ferriday, the son of Johnny and Gertrude Bailey Fleming. He was retired as a heavy equipment operator and was a World War II veteran.
Rev. Fleming was a Baptist minister.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and one son, Isaiah Fleming Jr.
Survivors include his wife, Lana Young Fleming; three daughters, Marion Melancon and Vivian Dishmon, both of Ferriday, and Deloris Lee of Rialto, Calif.; 17 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren; 10 nieces and nephews; and a number of cousins.
