PORT NECHES, Texas – Services for Thomas Victor “Tommy” Budwah, 83, of Nederland, Texas, who died Thursday, Nov. 6, 2008, at his residence, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Levingston Funeral Home, in Port Neches, with the Rev. Toney Miller officiating.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Midway Cemetery, in Meadville, under the direction of Levingston Funeral Home in Port Neches.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mr. Budwah was born June 22, 1925, in Ferriday, the son of Foster Budwah and Ora McEachern Budwah. He was a resident of Nederland for 54 years and a retired heavy equipment operator at Unocal with 32 years of service. He was a member of First United Methodist Church, in Nederland, and a World War II veteran serving in the U.S. Navy for 12 years.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Peggy Cole Budwah; and two brothers, Foster Budwah Jr. and Carl Gene Budwah.
Survivors include two daughters, Tommye Jean Robbins and husband, Joe, both of Nederland, and Mary Karen Laird of Bude; one brother, Bill Budwah and wife, Julianne, both of Plain Dealing, La.; four grandchildren, Ramon Raines and wife, Darla, Michelle Taylor and husband, Trace, Cody Robbins and wife, Paige, and Colton Laird; five great-grandchildren, Callie, Mackenna and Easton Grice, Carson Raines and Reese Robbins; and a number of nieces and nephews.
