Natchez — Funeral services for Vivian Robinson, 83, who died Friday, Nov. 7, 2008, at Natchez Regional Medical Center, will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Laird Funeral Home Union Street Chapel with Father George Pookkattu officiating.
Burial will follow at Natchez City Cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
Mrs. Robinson was born April 8, 1925, in Crowville, La., the daughter of Isham Smith and Mary Clementine LeBeaux Smith. Mrs. Robinson was a 1942 graduate of Gilbert High School in Gilbert, La. She was a member of St. Mary Basilica. Mrs. Robinson retired from Metro Communications after 36 years of service.
She is preceded in death by her parents; two brothers; and one sister.
Survivors include her five children, J.T. “Teddy” Robinson Jr., of Moncks Corner, S.C., Carl Lamar “Bubba” Robinson, of Lake St. John, Janis G. “Gwen” Bowen of Germantown, Tenn., Terry Forrest Robinson and Lynn Perry, both of Natchez; 14 grandchildren, Dee Dee Crout, Melissa Bowers, Missy Neely, Monique Saia, Shanna Barnhart, Candy Cap, Justin Robinson, LaChelle Olivet, Stephanie Davis, Shawn Perry, Jamie Robinson, Joshua Bowen, Pierre Bowen and Arianna Bowen; 19 great-grandchildren; one sister, Virginia Temple; and one brother, Felix Smith, both of Baton Rouge.
Pallbearers will be Justin Robinson, Shawn Perry, Jamie Robinson, Joshua Bowen, Pierre Bowen and Felix Nathaniel “Nat” Smith Jr.
Honorary pallbearers will be Braxton Robinson, Drake Davis and Parker Robinson.
