Derrick joins morning staff at Big River Broadcasting

Natchez — Bobby Derrick has joined the broadcast team at Big River Broadcasting as the morning host on Classic Hits 107.1 The River radio station.
“Doc,” as he is known to friends and fans, brings over 20 years of “experience to the popular radio station.
He says listeners can expect a fun, high energy, local radio show about local people and events and that is packed full of crazy surprises, giveaways and great music.
Derrick is active in numerous charities throughout the Miss-Lou, as well as Natchez Downtown Development, The local Veterans of Foreign Wars, and owns a local club and restaurant in downtown Natchez.
He is a native of Morton, and a coast guard veteran.
He and his wife Shannan Derrick have made their home in Natchez since 1999 and have since fostered many children. Currently, they have one adopted son and three foster daughters.
“Doc Bigloves Morning Medicine Show” can be heard Monday through Friday, 6 a.m until 10 a.m. on KFNV, 107.1 The River.
