RIDGECREST — Authorities are searching for information regarding a Sunday night home invasion.

According to a statement from the Concordia Parish Sheriff’s Office, a resident of Weeks Circle reported she discovered a white male subject in her home after she heard a window break.

The resident struggled with the intruder before he ultimately fled the scene.

The victim sustained bruises and lacerations during the assault.

The suspect was reportedly wearing a mask, an orange shirt, jeans and boots.
