Natchez — Detective Jerry Ford of the Natchez Police Department for graduating from the Mississippi Law Enforcement Training Academy. Ford completed 10 weeks of the certified investgator program in Pearl.

He has been employed by the City of Natchez for 11 years and is only the third person in the Adams County area to be ceritified by the state of Mississippi in investingations.

He is married to Shuwanda Phipps Ford and is the son of Rev and Mrs. Ernest Ford Sr.
