NATCHEZ — Natchez Downtown Development Association members won’t be spending money on Black Friday.
Instead, they’ll be begging for it.
The organization’s annual charity “beg” will be from 7:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Friday on the corner on Main and Commerce streets.
“This goes toward the pre-lighting ceremony and other things for Christmas, the parade we’re putting on with the city,” NDDA Director Carrie Lambert said.
Cash and checks made out to downtown development will be accepted.
“Downtown development board members and friends will be out so please come by,” Lambert said.
