FERRIDAY — Local authorities responded to the burglary of a local newspaper Wednesday morning.

An unknown burglar broke a window before entering the offices of the Concordia Sentinel on First Street.

The thief reportedly went through the office desks and took several items, Assistant Police Chief Johnny Evans said.
