PORT GIBSON — The Port Gibson Heritage singers have earned many statewide honors for their talents.
The group is a true representation of what great harmony can be achieved when all races work together.
The singers are invited to perform at many places across the state, and each time they fill as many request as possible.
In early December, each year they make time to perform at home in The Blue Barn Theatre, 1001 E.P. Spencer Drive in Port Gibson. That performance is at 5 p.m. on Sunday.
Also, in recognition of Pearl Harbor day, which is Sunday, the singers will sing patriotic songs as well as their wonderful gospel music.
They will also lead the attendees in Christmas carols to get the Christmas season started.
Everyone is invited to attend the free concert in the warm, comfortable auditorium.
Although there is no admission fee, donations to the renovation of the theater will be accepted. All donations are tax deductible.
The concert is presented through the assistance of The Mississippi Arts Commission and Theatre Plus, Inc.
